2024 Summer Reading
Adventure Begins at Your Library

Join the adventure and enter to win
Saturday June 8th – Thursday August 1st

 
This summer, let us be your tour guide with our Adventure Begins summer reading theme. Children will have the opportunity to participate in our Adventure Journal Reading Program, be a part of hands-on programs, offsite events and listen to stories that embrace the magical adventures that can only take place inside a book.
So, pack your bags and get ready for the fun to begin.
 
Our Summer Reading Kick-off will take place on
Saturday June 8
from 12PM to 3PM
at Atwater Memorial Library


Head on over to take part in music, crafts and games meant for the entire family.

Adventure journal sign-ups will also take place.

Adventure Journal Reading Program

This summer adventure begins at North Branford Public Libraries! Sign up for our summer reading program which includes an adventure journal that is filled to the brim with reading and writing challenges.

How To Participate:

  • Head to either location (Atwater or Smith) to receive your Adventure Journal.
  • Take on our reading challenge, which asks you to read 20mins a day.
  • Receive small prizes at different intervals to keep you motivated.
  • Once you read a total of 1,000 mins you will receive 10 raffle tickets to go towards any of the prizes listed below.
  • Complete our writing challenges to receive an additional 5 raffle tickets for the prizes listed below.
  • Earn additional raffle tickets by taking part in our children’s summer programs (storytimes are excluded).
  • Ask us about our Adventure Journal curated especially for those in Pre-K and under.
