Compare and contrast your lives to those of colonial children while learning about both work and play on Thursday June 25. Make a “hornbook,” examine clothing, try out daily chores, and play with reproduction colonial-era toys. Meant for ages 5 – 12.

Christine’s Critters will showcase amazing birds of prey on Northford Park on Monday June 22, such as hawks, owls, and falcons and talk about the remarkable rehabilitation work they do with raptors all over the state. Meant for all ages, please register in case of rain.

Join the Totoket Historical Society on Wednesday June 17 as we learn about what North Branford was like in the 18th century! We will talk about it’s agricultural roots and conclude with an activity where we’ll attempt to make our own butter.

Celebrate America’s 250th during summer break on Tuesday June 23 with a series of Colonial Escape Rooms designed to teach children about the life during the 13 colonies while working their way back to present day. The room is designed for ages 8+ and participants must sign up for a specific escape room slot.
