The Menunkatuck Audubon Society, a chapter of the National Audubon Society serving North Branford and surrounding towns, is here for a presentation on Purple Martins. The Purple Martin, the largest swallow in North America, are colonial cavity-nesting birds and almost completely dependent on human-provided housing in the Eastern United States.
The Menunkatuck Audubon Society works locally to create a healthy habitat for people, birds, and other wildlife by preserving our natural ecosystems.
