Spend your Mondays (5PM to 6PM) in November with Libby, a certified therapy dog that cannot wait to read with 3rd thru 5th graders! Registration for specific time slots is necessary. Please call the location you want to read at and ask for our children’s librarians for availability OR access their emails here.

Come meet everyone’s favorite Green and Pink Witches at Atwater on Saturday November 15th! During this time you will watch them sing, dance and read about their various adventures in the Emerald City! Meant for children of all ages.

KINDNESS Rocks @ SMITH

Celebrate World Kindness Day on Thursday November 13 at the Smith Library! We will read a story and paint rocks to spread kindness and encourage others inside and outside our homes. Recommended grades K-5

Paint a Plow @ ATW & SMI

Leave your make on the town of North Branford this November at our Paint-a-Plow program! Join our Smith or Atwater location to place your hand-print on the town plows you will see working throughout the winter season.

Little Makers @ SMITH

Each Little Maker’s session will have a simple craft activity that we do together. On Monday November 17 we will be making a turkey that focuses on what we are thankful for. Recommended for children ages 2 – 6.

Saturday Storytime @ SMITH

Join Miss Mary the 2nd Saturday in November for 30 minutes of stories, music, and movement. This program is recommended for ages 18-months and up with a parent or caregiver.
