In recognition of Women’s History Month the North Branford Public Libraries will be hosting “Patriots of Liberty” presented by Patty Carver. Patriots of Liberty is a one-woman musical presentation that brings four noted women of American history to life. Carter will tell the stories of Betsy Ross and the American flag, Deborah Sampson and her part in the fight for American independence, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and the battle for women’s suffrage, as well as Amelia Earhart and her solo flight across the Atlantic.
