Join us for a library field trip to Meigs Point Nature Center at Hammonasset Beach State Park!

Reptiles with Ranger Russ! Learn about each of Connecticut’s native turtle species and what’s special about each of Connecticut’s 14 species of snakes! There will be LIVE turtles & snakes.

Recommended for age 5 & up.

There is a fee for this program of $5/child per session, payable at the Nature Center. Chaperones and parents are free.

If also attending the Touch Tank session from 10:00-11:00am, please register each child separately for each session (Touch Tank and Reptiles with Ranger Russ). Bring a beach picnic lunch, bathing suits & towels for the break between sessions!
