Temporary Closure of SMITH Library

The Edward Smith Library will be closed starting May 4, 2026, for approximately 2–3 months to install a new HVAC system. We anticipate reopening in early August.

We are dedicated to providing a comfortable, safe, and reliable space that fosters curiosity and connection. This critical upgrade replaces failed equipment and ensures we can continue to serve you in an environment that meets those goals.

We apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause and look forward to serving you at the Atwater Memorial Library during this time. Please know that all of your Smith librarians will be making the transition to Atwater during this time; we cannot wait to see you there!
