Conceived of and written by Patty Carver, American Heroines is a one-woman musical that brings four important women of American history to life.
- Catherine Coffin – considered first lady of the underground railroad
- Mother Jones – known for organizing Unions and fighting
- Molly Pitcher – during the Battle of Monmouth in the Revolutionary War, she gave water to fallen soldiers
- Prudence Crandall – In 1833, she established the first academy for African-American women in Canterbury, CT
Patty’s performance is roughly 1-hour long, followed by a Q&A.
