Why Buy When You Can Borrow
The North Branford Public Libraries are working to make innovative items available to our community. Our Library of Things is a collection of non-traditional items that expands the range of traditional Library materials, providing diverse opportunities for lifelong learning, discovery, and engagement. It promotes sustainability by encouraging sharing, and the ability to try before you buy.
These items are all free to check out with your Library card!
General Borrowing Guidelines
- A valid Connecticut Library card in good standing is required for borrowing.
- Items must be picked up and returned at the same North Branford location–due to the nature of this collection delivery between libraries is not possible.
- Only 2 items from the collection can be checked out at one time.
- All items must be returned in clean, working order, and in the same condition as when they were checked out.
- Items circulate for 7 days, with no renewals, in order to ensure all patrons have access.
