North Branford Fire Department
The North Branford Fire Department is an all-hazards response agency primarily utilizing volunteer staff to provide emergency services, including EMS.

- Perform rescue operations.
- Provide hazardous materials response.
- Provide fire inspection, suppression and inspection.

EMS Responder
The NBFD is the designated by CT-OEMS as the primary EMS responder for North Branford and operates the ambulance at the mobile intensive care paramedic level. Each company operates either a quick response EMS unit and/or heavy rescue truck.
